There is a great diversity in the series of valleys in Perm. The investigation
focuses on strategies for valleys with a less urban character and
situated in areas with limited urban activity and lower density. Here,
a clear definition of the valley edge is not possible, neither is
a seperation between areas for building development and green protected
areas. The green slopes are scattered with detached, predominantly
wooden houses, blending with its gardens into the landscape. In order
to preserve the prevailing balance between programmed and natural
conditions, a destinction has to be made between ‘building within
block contours’ and ‘building within the valley’.
In a following step, specific constraints for building development
within the valley or the adjacent blocks have to be established. |
